Wash My Soul In the River’s Flow released nationally in March 2022, directly after Covid lockdowns, on 52 Screens. The release included specialty cinemas such as Dendy, Nova, Thornbury Picture House and Luna Cinemas as well as mainstream cinemas such as Village Roadshow Cinemas (Melbourne and Tasmania) and Event Cinemas (Sydney).

Sharjah Film Biennale 15: Thinking Historically in the Present. Wash My Soul In The River’s Flow screened 13 May 2023 Sharjah Art Foundation. Sharjah Biennial 15 Film Programme presents a series of film, documentary and experimental moving images by participating artists and other significant filmmakers. Expanding on the Biennial’s theme, ‘ Thinking historically in the Present’, the line up includes varied and radical imaginations of Indigenous futures as well as several subversive portrayals of resistance to the legacies of colonialism, and highlights the overall empowering nature of the filmic medium.
